Ar Tearmann Cottage is the perfect island escape. We are in Sleat -“Gàrradh an Eilein” – or the “Garden of Skye”, only five minutes from the ferry terminal at Armadale (a 45-minute short crossing to Mallaig).
The perfect location deserves perfect facilities, so we have considered the detail to make sure that your stay is extra special. The cottage has a large sunny garden, paved terrace and furnished patio areas with a barbecue for you to enjoy.
Indoors, the walls are hung with local art and the welcome pack is filled with island produce. The furnishings include local sheepskin rugs and pottery. And a wood-burning stove gives a cosy feel to the open plan living area.
A well-equipped kitchen includes Neff and Bosch appliances.
We have complimentary toiletries and you can luxuriate in the monsoon showers, before curling up in Egyptian cotton sheets.
And, if you really can’t escape connectivity, there is wifi (up to 18Mpbs), mobile reception, and USB charging points. There is also a 49” Smart TV, DVD and CD player with radio and Bluetooth.
Dogs are very welcome. They have their own shower, food and drink bowls, and treats!

Book directly through the website. Online payment facility for credit/debit cards, or pay by bank transfer. 30% deposit and balance six weeks before arrival.
Weekly bookings Friday – Friday. Arrival any time after 4pm and key kept in key safe, so no pressure to be there at a set time. Departure by 9am to allow sufficient time to clean between guests. Prices include all electricity, heating, bed linen and towels.
